Hello, you!
Friday night, I played at Eliaskirken in central Copenhagen. It was a wonderful experience for me – the audience was so, so quiet and the room was beautiful.

It was the annual “Kulturnat” – Culturenight – in Copenhagen, where the city opens up its bars, churches, shops, museums and concertvenues to the citizens – everywhere you go, “culture” in all sounds, shapes and sizes peeps out. I would have liked to see my labelmates, Murder, who also played at Vesterbro, but my parents and my brother and his wife had decided to surprise me by coming to see my show, so we went for a drink instead. Wonderful. It is nice, when people you care about, insist on existing in your world – for example by showing up unannounced.

To those of you, who were there, I want to say: Thank you – I loved playing for you. It was possibly my last show in Copenhagen this year. As you know, I will focus on doing my records in the next couple of months.
Btw, I was in the studio with Aske on Friday. We recorded vocals on a song called The Boy in the manger. Later this month, we will be recording brass-instruments and strings with musicians from The Royal Danish Academy of Music. More about this later. The image below is how the process looks like in Logic:

Aske was, once again, a soundwizard.
I will return next week with more pics and words from the studio.
Till then, remember to take a walk in the forest, where the leaves are turning yellowish and the air is clean. If you live in Copenhagen, be sure to visit dyrehaven.
